Cal. 27-70 CH Q mechanical lever movement stamped with the Geneva seal, 24 jewels, silvered dial, applied white gold baton numerals, two apertures for day and month, three subsidiary dials for constant seconds combined with 24 hour indication, 30 minute register combined with leap year indication and date combined with moon phases, circular case, glazed display screw back, two round chronograph buttons in the band, 18k white gold Patek Philippe Henri Stern buckle, case, dial and movement signed

With Patek Philippe additional case back, setting pin and fitted presentation box. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and raised indexes in gold in 1994 and its subsequent sale on 2 June 1995.
This rare "icy beauty" is fresh to the market and in overall excellent condition.

Reference 3970 was in production from 1986 until 2004 when it was replaced by reference 5970. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 305.
