This collection of paintings and calligraphy comes from a prominent Japanese collector Mr. Hanabusa Yanagihara, a doctor with a strong interest in Chinese arts and culture. Part of his collection was offered in our Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Sale (Lot 2859) and Fine Chinese Modern Paintings Sale (Lot3004-3009) held on 28 and 29 May 2012 respectively.
