Acquired in Europe, circa 1890, by Bradford de Wolf, Avenue Louise, Brussels, and later, Miramar House, Bristol, Rhode Island, and by descent to his son,
Francis Colt de Wolf, Bodisco House, Washington, D.C., and by descent to his son,
Francis Colt de Wolf, Jr., and by descent to the present owner.
