Each circular, the centres painted with officers and soldiers of the Guard Horse Chasseur regiment and of an Artillery regiment, within a gilt border, with gilt ciselé Imperial double-headed eagles and military trophies, both inscribed, signed in Cyrillic and dated under base, one signed 'P. Savelev, 1832', the other 'P. Shetinin, 1831', each marked under base with blue overglaze factory mark
Each: 9½ in. (24 cm.) diameter (2)

Acquired by the present owner's father-in-law, Paris, circa 1920-1930.
