Oblong, the sides chased with foliage scrolls, flowers and rocaille, the hinged cover with a rocaille, grotesque mask and shell finial, later engraved on each side with coat-of-arms, marked underneath

The arms on one side are those of Haselwood of Oldington, Newton and Bridgenorth co. Shropshire.
