rectangular upright case with rounded corners, the obverse and reverse enamelled in mint green, the cover inscribed on both sides 'SOUVENIR', the obverse with grisaille enamel depicting three cherubs playing as bacchantes, the reverse similarly enamelled with three cherubs disguised as Venus, Mars and Diana, the interior with a pair of gold-mounted scissors, a gold-backed mirror, a gold folding-knife with mother-of-pearl handle, a gold spoon, a gold bodkin, a gold mount for a pencil and a gold-mounted ivory tablet, chased gold mounts with gold push-piece
