For a similar example in Dresden see Anette Loesch, Ulrich Pietsch and Friedrich Reicher, Porzellan Sammlung Dresden, Fürher Durch die Städige Ausstellung, Dresden, 1988, p. 201. In 1720 Georg Fritzsche was complimented as 'being responsible for the best moulds' and reference to 'large Pagodas' is made in the inventory of 1719.
Another example of this figure is illustrated by Ludwig Schnorr von Carolsfeld, Porzellansammlung Gustav von Klemperer, Dresden, 1928, pl. 42, and an example is in the collection of the Boston Museum. Another example from the collection of Jules de Noailles was sold by Sotheby's, Zurich on 24 November 1999, lot 12.
