V434 13''' mechanical lever movement, 19 jewels, two-tone silvered dial, applied gold dot and Arabic numerals, outer railway five minute divisions, tachymetre and telemetre scales, two engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minutes register, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

According to the Archives of Vacheron Constantin, the present watch was manufactured in 1947.

The pink gold reference 4072 offered here for sale is a fine example of Vacheron Constantin's 1940s chronograph production, distinguished by its contemporary design. Given to the father of the present owner by his father as a wedding gift, it has remained in the same family ever since and stands out by its charismatic two-tone silvered dial and the generally very attractive, original overall condition.
