Cal. 72C mechanical movement, 17 jewels, black dial, sword-shaped and square numerals, outer silver Arabic date ring and central date hand, two windows for day and month, three engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, screw back, screw down crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Rolex deployant clasp, case dial and movement signed

Reference 6036, the third generation of the celebrated "Dato Compax" Oyster triple calendar chronograph model ever presented by Geneva's "crowned" watch manufacturer, was available with various dial layouts, cased mainly in yellow gold and in stainless steel.

The present watch with an attractively refinished black dial is an opportunity not to be missed to acquire an example of reference 6036 to be worn daily. The case was preserved in very good condition with the definition to the bezel and lugs that is especially crisp after nearly 60 years of life.
