The left hand mirror shown here is illustrated in G. Child, World Mirrors, London, 1990, p. 74, fig. 40. Originally, the present pair of mirrors may have been silvered rather than gilt and with glass branches which were subsequently broken and replaced with the present brass examples, which appear late 18th or early 19th century in date.
