With sabre drawn, the base signed 'R. Nannini' and the reverse with a foundry seal inscribed 'L.N. PARIS. J.L'

Specialist note

Raphael Nannini was born in Florence. He exhibited at the Paris salons and executed bronze and ivory works for the French firm Les Neveux de J Lehmann.
