Baluster, on spiral-fluted gadrooned foot, with two leaf-capped scroll handles, with engraved scrolling foliate band on a linear ground, the domed cover with spirally cast finial, engraved with a crest below a baron's coronet, the body engraved with a full coat of arms within drapery and foliate mantling on an ermine and linear ground, the foot with scratch-weight No. 3 60=3

Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron Harewood (1719-1790) and by descent to his cousin Edward Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood (1735-1820) and by descent at Harewood House, Yorkshire.

Specialist note

The arms are those of Lascelles impaling Colman for Edwin Lascelles, 1st Baron of Harwood and his second wife Jane (d.1813), daughter of William Colman, of Garnbay, Devon and widow of Sir John Fleming, 1st and last Bt., who he married in 1770.
