LOUIS VUITTON, FIRST HALF 20TH CENTURY
Both brass bound, with leather handles and the monogram 'MP' to the front, the interior of both cases lined in ivory linen, both with ivory canvas cross straps to the base, the small case also with similar straps to the lid
The smaller case 7 x 26¼ x 15½ in. (18 x 67 x 39.5 cm.); the larger 8½ x 28 x 17½ in. (22 x 71 x 44.5 cm)
The lock of the smaller case stamped 'LOUIS VUITTON' and numbered '023', the interior labelled 'LOUIS VUITTON, PARIS - 70. CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES, 149. NEW BOND ST. LONDON .W, NICE 12.
