TWO HARD-SIDED SUITCASES IN MONOGRAM CANVAS
LOUIS VUITTON, 20TH CENTURY
Both composite leather and brass bound the binding missing from the sides on both cases, both with leather handles to the front, the interior of the smaller case lined in cream canvas, with removeable tray fitted with canvas cover and cross straps, the base with two cream linen cross straps, the interior of the larger case lined in cream canvas with two cream linen cross straps
The smaller 8¾ x 25¾ x 20½ in. (22 x 65.5 x 52 cm.) the larger 8¾ x 31½ x 20½ in. (22 x 80 x 52 cm.)
The lock of the smaller case inscribed 'LOUIS VUITTON, MADE IN FRANCE' and marked 'H8', the interior label partially missing, the number partially illegiable '?????97' the lock of the larger case inscribed 'LOUIS VUITTON, MADE IN FRANCE' and marked 'H4' the interior labelled 'LOUIS VUITTON, AVE MARCEAU 78 BIS PARIS, NICE.2 AVE DE SUÉDE' and numbered '910435' (2)
