The hat box composite bound, with a leather handel to lid, the monogram 'JG' in a diamond to either end, the interior lined in ivory linen, the padded lid fitted with straps; the case brass and composite bound, with leather handel to front, the monogram 'MDC' to the front, the interior lined in ivory linen
The hat box 17 x 15½ x 13¾ in. (42.5 x 39 x 34.5 cm.);the case 8½ x 16 x 16 in. (21 x 40 x 40 cm.)
