The present Double Red Sea-Dweller features the designation Rolex Oyster Gas Escapement Valve (Patent Pending) with Rolex engraved across the case back as seen on the early models of this iconic dive watch. The present example has a 1.7 million serial number with a Mark II dial. The print is bright red and crisp with the font smaller on the second line. The case interior reads 1665 and iv.67.
