The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon 1 is the world's first spherical tourbillon. Production began in 2004-2005, with only about 20 pieces being produced each year. A traditional tourbillon will rotate on one axis, while the Gyrotourbillon 1 rotates on two axes.

With the addition of an 8-Day power reserve, equation of time, and retrograde perpetual calendar, this highly complicated watch is truly a feat of mechanical engineering.
