In 1868, American watchmaker Florentine Ariosto Jones, a director of E. Howard & Co., founded the International Watch Company with the intention of combining Swiss craftsmanship with American engineering, technology and production.

This limited series watch was created to celebrate the founder of IWC. 3000 were made in steel, 1000 in pink gold and 500 in platinum.
