Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1948 and its subsequent sale on May 30th of the following year.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

Reference 2412 was produced from 1946 in a small series until around 1948 in both yellow and pink gold, and impresses with its multi-stepped case and sculpted lugs. It is one of Patek Philippe's rarest square-shaped models, and in fact, after 30 years of public auctions, we only know of 3 yellow gold examples and 7 pink gold examples.
