Mechanical jewelled movement, silvered matte dial, applied gold dagger numerals, outer tachometer scale, inner blue telemeter scale, three engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minute and 12 hour registers, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, two round chronograph buttons in the band, screw down crown, screw back, stainless steel Rolex buckle, case, dial and movement signed
35mm diam.

Specialist note

Reference 6234 is, technically speaking, a "pre-pre-Daytona" as the imminent predecessor of reference 6238 which was the last Oyster Chronograph before the Cosmograph and Daytona era begun. Reference 6234 was predominantly finished in stainless steel as intended for use in either scientific or sporting environment.
