Cal. 1030 automatic lever movement, 25 jewels, black dial with luminous dot, baton and dagger numerals, luminous Mercedes-style hands, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type, later revolving black bezel calibrated for 60 units, large screw down crown and screw back, stainless steel Rolex Oyster link bracelet and deployant clasp, case and movement signed by maker, dial signed by retailer

Specialist note

The reference 6538 is one of the most iconic vintage Rolex wristwatches available. Affectionately known as the James Bond due to its appearance in the in the 007 movie Dr. No. The watch made its first appearance when Agent Bond checks his Submariner to time the explosion of a bomb he has planted.
