Together with a German Zischägge, mid-17th century, the skull embossed with ribs radiating from a small ring finial and disc washer, with pointed peak struck with construction marks, broad fitted with pointed peak struck with maker's marks, broadth neck-guard of four articulated lames, hinged pierced cheek-pieces, and plain turned edges throughout - 26 cm.
