With Patek Philippe fitted presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1990 and its subsequent sale on 20 February 1991.

Ref. 3945/1 was in production from 1985 until 1998, and is a variant of the celebrated reference 3940. Whereas the case of reference 3940 features lugs in order to add a detachable leather or gold bracelet, reference 3945/1 was exclusively made with integral gold bracelet.

As its peer, reference 3945/1 was produced in two series, distinguished by the leap year display: the first series with sunk leap year dial and the second showing a crossed leap year.
