With A. Lange & Söhne Garantie dated 27 April 2012, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

This watch was produced to commemorate the 165th anniversary of the company in 2010 and is numbered 47 of a limited series of 150 pieces.

A. Lange & Söhne produced three models; the Tourbograph Pour le Mérite, the Lange 1 Tourbillon, the present lot, and 1815 Moonphase (please view lot 3056). All three models are made of 18k honey-coloured gold, a material exclusively developed for A. Lange & Söhne. The honey-coloured gold has a warm, subtle hue and is significantly harder than regular gold alloys, allowing A. Lange & Söhne to create with the present example offered here for sale, a more durable and wear-resistant timepiece.

This watch is furthermore the world's first wristwatch combining a tourbillon, a patented oversized date, twin barrels for the three days power reserve and a progressive power reserve indicator. The movement is composed of 378 parts and the tourbillon consists of 72 pieces.

The present watch is in outstanding condition and will most certainly interest collectors of fine and exclusive timepieces.
