The gadrooned everted rim above a reeded dish and waisted socle on a fluted support and a black marble plinth base
9 3/8 in. (23.7 cm.) high; 12½ in. (32 cm.) wide; 10½ in. (26.5 cm.) deep

Supplied by Vulliamy & Son, London, to Edward Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood (1740-1820) itemised in an invoice dated 11 July 1805, and by descent at Harewood House, Yorkshire.

Specialist note

The present tazza is described in invoice books dated 11 July 1805 detailing a commission for Edward Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood (1740-1820) from the Vulliamy workshops:

'Large antique tazza with handles...black marbel [sic] plinth, 18 Gns.' (C104/58. No. 31 p. 248).
