Hand-coloured folding engraved map (540 x 965mm), to the scale of 3 13/16 inches to one mile (approx. 1:16,619), compass star to north-western edge, calligraphic title to north-eastern edge, dissected and mounted on linen. (One small hole to paper panels at creasefold, a few other paper panels slightly fraying at edges, light browning and offsetting, linen browned and soiled to verso.) Contained in the original drab paper-covered slipcase with printed orange paper label to upper cover and printed paper label to verso with explanatory remarks (heavily rubbed with one edge holed and defective).
