Centering upon a detachable shield-shaped clip brooch decorated with cabochon sapphires, rubies and circular-cut diamonds, to the honeycomb motif bracelet, mounted in platinum and gold, 1940s, bracelet 16.6 cm, brooch 4.5 cm (2)

Specialist note

According to the vendor, this bracelet with detachable clip brooch was acquired from Bulgari. The combination of rubies, sapphires and diamonds was often used by Bulgari and there are several known examples of bangles with detachable clips brooches in a similar style.
