Conceived in 1937-1938; this zinc version cast between 1940 and 1943

Ms. Annette Seeler, Berlin, will include this cast in the catalogue raisonné of the sculptures by Käthe Kollwitz which she is currently preparing for the Käthe Kollwitz Museum, Cologne.
