Each with circular cut glass dished top with three swag-bearing putti around a ring-handle, above a foliate-cast band, on a leaf-cast plinth and palmette-headed feet, stamped 'THOMIRE A PARIS', originally with further tiers

By repute, presented by Napoleon to Count Tolstoi, Russian Ambassador in Paris, by whom brought back to Russia and subsequently acquired in Russia by a British Ambassador.
