Each rectangular panel in raised and sunken relief and gold and silver inlays with a design of a Gama sennin and Tekkai sennin, framed and glazed

Specialist note

Kiyoshi, famous for the virtuosity of his chiseling and hairline engraving, taught metalwork at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. He was an Artist to the Imperial Household (Teishitsu Gigeiin).
