Specialist note

'Bruce's Tomb' is, in fact, the tomb of Ramesses II (1184-1153 BC), and is so called since it was visited by the early explorer James Bruce in 1768 and was recorded by him in his Travels to Discover the Source of the Nile, published in 1790.
