FIRST EDITION, with the misprint 'you' for 'your' on the third line of page 13. One of the first encore performances of Sherlock Holmes since his disappearance over Reichenbach Falls in 'The Final Problem' of 1893. This literary return was described by Doyle as the 'inevitable relapse after repentance'.
