BINDING -- A 19th-century religious binding of parcel gilt silver and enamel, pierced with winged putti amongst vases on blue enamel ground, centering upon five scenes from the Old and New Testament, which are possibly earlier elements, the Biblical scenes identified by engraved chapter references, contained in lined mid-20th-century clam-shell cloth box with green morocco labels (box worn).
