A CHARMING FITZGERALD LETTER COMICALLY REFUSING TO PROVIDE HIS AUTOGRAPH -- THEN SUPPLYING IT FIVE TIMES! "Dear Miss Emerson, I absolutely refuse to give you my 'autograph!,' Obstinately, F. Scott Fitzgerald." He adds his signature three additional times along the edge of the paper, then adds a fifth and final example on the verso. A wonderful, playful expression of Fitzgerald's sense of humor, as he rides the crest of his Gatsby success and lives the good life with his wife Zelda alongside the other literary giants and ex-pats in 1920s Paris.
