The heart shaped locket centered by an inverted pear shaped ruby to an old-cut diamond cluster surround and further cushion shaped mixed-cut ruby border, with rose-cut diamond line outer accent, to the tapering similarly-set pendant loop, with hinged cover to the reverse, opening to reveal a glazed locket compartment, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1880, 3.7cm long, pendant loop later addition
