The helmet with thirty-two plate iron suji-bachi [ridged helmet bowl] with red lacquer attribution Yoshiharu saku, gilt wood kuwagata and maedate of the sun, five-tier kittsukezane [plates simulating true laced scales] shikoro [neck guard], the fukigaeshi [turn-backs] with applied gilt mon of the character kami, menpo with bushy moustache, four-tiered shittsukezane yodare-gake [throat guard], the nimai-do [two piece cuirass] of alternating iron and leather lacquered hon-kozane [true scales], gyoyo [shoulder strap covers] of dyed leather-clad iron with applied gilt kami mon and gilt fukurin [edging], kusazuri [skirt] of seven tassets each of five tiers of kittsukezane, sode [shoulder guards] of seven tiers of kittsukezane, the whole with components lacquered black and laced in blue kebiki odoshi [close-lacing] style, Shino-gote [sleeves] with koppai-tetsu on the upper arms and mail extending across the upper chest, corrugated karuta haidate [thigh guard], slender russet iron five splint Shino sune-ate [lower leg guards], with two boxes with green-lacquered leather covers each with the kami mon
