With satinwood banding overall, the D-shaped hinged rectangular top enclosing a green baize-lined playing-surface above a tablet frieze on a leaf-wrapped baluster shaft and platform base with downswept legs with brass paw caps and castors, labelled 'GEORGE SIMSON, UPHOLDER, CABINETMAKER & UNDERTAKER, NO.19 Southside of St Pauls Church Yard, LONDON' and inscribed 306 IO/IB/X AB/S/N and in chalk '151/18068' AND '67'
