A SET OF REGENCY SPECIMEN-WOOD QUARTETTO TABLES

A set of quartetto tables of similar form which are recorded at Leighton Hall, Lancashire and were likely to have been supplied by Gillows circa 1810 (R. Edwards & M. Jourdain, Georgian Cabinet Makers, London, 1955, p. 221, fig. 193). A similar set was sold anonymously Christie's, London, 4 June 2009, lot 136 (£21,250 including premium), while another related set of five was sold from the property of Michael Lipitch II, Christie's, London, 4 October 2001, lot 116 (£30,550 including premium).
