The button-shaped pearl, measuring approximately 12.8-12.6 mm, bordered with a carved moonstone crescent to the pavé-set diamond shooting star shoulders and hoop, the reverse engraved The moon, like to a silver bow New - bent in heaven, ring size 2¾, with French assay mark for platinum

The engraved text is taken from Shakespeare's A Midsummer's Night Dream, Act I, Scene I. Speaking of her approaching wedding day, Hippolyta is associating the moon with love and marriage.
