Tasting note: The 'odd-man out' of the Médoc. The vineyard lies on a swathe of Graves soil that rings Bordeaux which accounts for its distinctive style, in the past referred to as the Burgundy of Bordeaux. In 2005, because of the weather, uniform ripeness and vinification, its novel characteristics are evened out.
