Cal. 12-400 mechanical movement stamped twice with the Geneva seal, 18 jewels, metal dust cap, pink dial, applied gold dagger numerals, subsidiary seconds, circular water-resistant-type case, screw back, 18K pink gold Patek Philippe bracelet, case and movement signed by maker, dial signed by maker and retailer

Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1952 and its subsequent sale on 11 March 1953. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe fitted presentation box.

Preserved in very good, original overall condition, the present watch is distinguished by the highly attractive combination of a pink gold case and pink gold dial, the retailer's signature and the pink gold bracelet. It is moreover believed to be one of only two examples of a reference 2509 in this particular configuration to appear in public to date.

Reference 2509 was launched in 1950 and fitted with the regular calibre 12'''400. Mainly available in gold, the model is distinguished by its sporty design and the water-resistant-type case with screw back.
