Of traditional circular form, on a circular foot, with raised prow and upright handle, the body centering three enameled green and white sunflower heads, amidst scrolling foliate and geometric motifs, on brown and blue grounds, the handle with conforming decoration, marked under base, also with import mark
4½ in. (11.4 cm.) high

Acquired by the father of the present owner, 1970s-1980s.

Specialist note

The present lot was likely executed in the workshop of Feodor Rückert, although his mark is not visible. Kurliukov, together with such firms as Fabergé and Ovchinnikov, purchased and retailed many of Rückert's works.
