Tom Phillips, R.A. (b. 1937)

In relation to the present lot and other works in this series, Phillips comments that he adopts 'a reconstruction of a procedure using different sets of coordinates of a golden section grid to produce two related images, one of which (by virtue of the colour arrangement) lies 'on top of' the other.'
