Carved and veneered to all sides, the top opening out to reveal an oak-lined compartment below a frieze with drawer inlaid to one side as a backgammon board and to the other as a chess board and nine-men's-morris board, the doors inlaid with African figures, the interior with inlaid drawers, secret drawers and cupboards, the metalwork engraved, restorations to interior
