To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

The present watch along with its sister reference number 5565 were produced by Patek Philippe in 2006 to commemorate the inauguration of the Salons Patek Philippe and the renovation of their historic building. The present model is a near exact replicate of the famed reference 492 which was produced in the 1930s. The current limited edition was produced in 100 examples.
