Comprising four five rouble gold coins dated 1888, 1889, 1891, 1893 and one rouble gold coin, dated 1898, in memory of the Alexander II monument construction in Moscow

Specialist note

The large rouble commemorates the dedication of a monument to Alexander II at the Kremlin in Moscow. The construction of the monument was started by Alexander III in 1893 and completed by Nicholas II in 1898. For further information, please see V.
