A PAIR OF UNMOUNTED DIAMONDS
Each unmounted brilliant-cut diamond weighing 5.27 and 5.24 carats

Accompanied by two reports nos. 2135641756 and 1132636579 dated 23 August 2011 and 12 September 2011 from the Gemological Institute of America stating that the 5.27 and 5.24 carat diamond is D colour, flawless clarity, with excellent cut, polish and symmetry

Also accompanied by two supplemental letters from the Gemological Institute of America stating the 5.27 and 5.24 carat diamonds have been determined to be type IIa. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often have exceptional optical transparency. Type IIa diamonds were first identified as originating from India (particularly from the Golconda region) but have since been recovered in all major diamond-producing regions of the world. Among famous gem diamonds, the 530.20 carat Cullinan and the 105.60 carat Koh-i-noor, are examples of Type IIa
