Signed Bishu ju Osafune Kiyomitsu, and dated Eiroku juichi nen hachi (remainder cut away) in accordance with the eighth month of 1568, Muromachi period (16th century)
A deeply-curved mune-oroshi uchigatana, slightly suriage and machiokuri, hamon of gunome midare with togari-ba, in re-assembled military mounting but with an Edo period (18th century) round iron tsuba pierced in kage-sukashi with a leaf, length 60cm.
