The Archives of Vacheron Constantin confirm production of the present 8-day desk timepiece by their subdivision Trident in 1928. The label Trident was registered in Geneva on 29 October 1902. Although hardly any information is available about this firm, it can be assumed that it was used to produce pieces not strictly related to watches such as singing bird boxes, desk and travel clocks.
