Cal. 727 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, champagne brushed dial, applied baton numerals, luminous accents, luminous hands, three engine-turned black subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case, blank bezel calibrated for 200 units, screw back, screw down crown, two screw down chronograph buttons in the band, 18K gold Rolex buckle, case, dial and movement signed

With Rolex Full One Year Warranty dated 24 July 1987 and fitted wooden brown presentation box.

The present "Cosmograph Daytona" is a particularly fine example of the celebrated reference 6263, standing out by its beautiful, well-preserved original condition, the overall appeal enhanced by the attractive champagne-coloured dial.

Reference 6263 was introduced into the market in 1971. Different versions of the model are described and illustrated in I Cronografi Rolex - La Leggenda, Pucci Papaleo Editore, pp. 328 - 335.
